Share Proposals From Any Carrier Site — Plus a New Way to Stay in the Loop
March 19, 2026
We built XILO to keep insurance agents in their workflow, not pull them out of it. This release brings twoupdates to the Chrome Extension that do exactly that: the ability to share proposals without leaving the carrier site you’re working on, and a new in-extension hub so you never miss what’s new.
Share Proposals, Right Where You Work
Until now, sharing a proposal with a client meant switching over to the XILO Dashboard, finding the right client, and building the proposal there. It worked — but it broke your flow.
Now, Share Proposals lives directly inside the Chrome Extension. While you’re actively quoting on acarrier site, just expand any client card, tap Share Proposals, and walk-through a quick guided flow to enter the carrier, premium, and coverage details. XILO generates a polished, shareable proposal and delivers it straight to your client through the new Client Portal — where they can review coverage details, read your notes, and tell you how they’d like to move forward.
Notab-switching. No copy-pasting between systems. Just quote, share, and keepmoving.
What’s on the Roadmap
This is just the starting point. Here’s what’s coming next:
• OCR-Powered Proposal Enrichment — Upload a carrier proposal document and let XILO's OCR automatically extract and populate the details for you. No more manual data entry for Standard or Custom proposals.
• Outlook Email Integration — Send proposals directly through your Outlook email with a fast, seamless flow built right into the extension.
• AI Proposal Analysis — Down the road, XILO will analyze carrier proposals with AI to surface tailored talking points you canuse when walking clients through their coverage options.
Introducing the What’s New Menu
You’ll also notice a new bellicon in the top corner of your extension. That’s the What’s New Menu —your in-app hub for product updates and, soon, real-time notifications.
Click it to see the latest feature releases with a quick summary and a link to the full details. No more wondering if you missed something — it’s all right there, one click away.
These updates are live now inthe XILO Chrome Extension. If you haven’t installed it yet, reach out to your account manager to get started.
