Release Notes - Duplicate Submissions and Workflows in a Click

Re-entering information you've already captured is one of the quietest time-drains in your day. This release is built around reuse: duplicate an existing form submission, or an entire workflow, in a single click instead of starting from a blank slate. Alongside that, we've added more control over how you move clients through their lifecycle, clearer visibility into how your automations run, and squashed a few bugs in your forms and exports.

Intake Forms

Duplicate a Submission Instead of Starting Over

Spinning up a new submission used to mean re-keying the same applicant details by hand, every single time. Now you can select an existing form submission and create an exact copy of the same form type—turning one Auto submission into another, for example—with the data already carried over. Available in both the XILO platform and the browser extension. Reuse what you've already built, and skip the busywork.

Coming soon: carrying data across different form types, like duplicating an Auto submission into a Home submission.

A few more intake updates:

  • Start a New Submission in One Click: The "Start New Submission" button kicks off a fresh form that's already attached to the right client record—no manual linking, in both the platform and the extension.
  • Download Any Submission on the Spot: A download button now sits directly on each Intake Form Submission, so grabbing a copy is always a click away. Don't want it on a particular form? You can turn it off per form.
  • Hidden Fields Now Export to PDF: We fixed a bug where hidden fields with default values weren't saving or landing in PDF exports. Those values now persist and appear in your PDFs exactly as set.

CRM

  • Roll a Client Back to an Earlier Stage: The client lifecycle dropdown now supports rollback. When a status changes by mistake—or a deal genuinely moves backward—you can return the client to a previous stage instead of being stuck moving only forward.
  • Copy a Share Link Without Hunting for It: A new copy button in the share dialog grabs your shortened share URL in one click, so you're no longer manually selecting text just to send someone a link.
  • Land on the Right Settings Tab Every Time: Navigation across the Team Users and Settings pages now carries your context in the URL. Switching between sub-tabs and user roles takes you exactly where you expect, and those views can be linked to directly.
  • Refreshed Team Management: The Team Management page has a cleaner layout and improved navigation, making members and carriers easier to manage at a glance.

Automations

Duplicate an Entire Workflow

Just like form submissions, full workflows are now reusable. Duplicate a workflow along with every one of its actions, and you've got a similar process running without rebuilding each step by hand.

A few more automation updates:

  • See Exactly Why a Workflow Didn't Run: Task History now shows when a workflow was skipped. Instead of wondering why an expected task or action never fired, you can see the skip logged right there in the history.
  • Pull Larger, Sorted Client Lists via the API: The submission API now supports custom sorting and ordering, and a single request can return up to 100 client records at a time. This is a developer-facing change for teams building custom integrations—it raises how many records the API returns per call and has no effect on how many clients your account can store.
  • See Every Connected System at a Glance: Your integrations view now lists every connected external system in real time, so you always know which integrations are active without digging through settings.

These updates are live now in XILO. If you have any questions or want to learn more about the updates, reach out to your account manager to get started.
