SMS Terms
Effective Date: 10/08/2026
The program
XILO is software for insurance organizations. Organizations that use XILO can send text messages to their own clients from a phone number registered to that organization. These terms apply to every text sent through XILO, whether XILO or the organization you work with sends it.
Messages may include quote and application follow-ups, policy and renewal updates, document and signature requests, appointment reminders, replies to your questions and, only if you separately agreed to receive them, marketing messages.
How you opt in
You receive texts only after you give your consent: for example, by checking a consent box and entering your mobile number on an organization's form, by texting the organization first, or by telling the organization in writing or verbally that it may text you. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying any product or service.
The first message after you opt in confirms your subscription and tells you how to get help and how to stop.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your activity, such as an open quote, a renewal or a question you asked.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to messages you send and receive. Neither XILO nor the organization charges you to receive texts.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT also work. You will receive one final message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no more texts after that.
To start receiving texts again, reply START.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for help. You can also contact the organization that texted you directly, or contact XILO using the details at the bottom of this page.
Carriers
Supported carriers include the major US wireless carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We use your mobile number only to send the messages you agreed to receive.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to receive texts after an update means you accept the updated terms.
